What We Believe

The Black Robed Regiment of Western New York

What we believe:

  • We uphold the truth’s expressed in the Nicene and Apostles Creeds.
  • We believe that “all Scripture is inspired by God,” every word of the Scriptures (verbal inspiration) in its entirety (plenary inspiration) and is without error (inerrant) in the original manuscripts. We believe that the Bible is the divinely authoritative Word of God and the standard for every age and for every life.
  • We believe that marriage is Scripturally and historically defined as between one man and one woman.
  • We believe that all men and women are created in the image of God, male and female,” are created equal, {and} that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness.”  These rights begin at conception and end at natural death.
  • We uphold and defend the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution of the United States as the rule of law. Any “law” that subverts the Constitution is an illegal law, and thereby not binding, and is illegal to enforce. Marbury vs. Madison, 5 US (2 Cranch) 137, 174, 176. (1803) “All laws which are repugnant to the Constitution are null and void.”
  • We uphold that the Bill of Rights has the purpose of limiting the power of government and protecting the rights of the citizens of the United States.  We reject the argument that the Bill of Rights are rights “granted to the people by the government”. Rather, it is a contract that handcuffs the government from stepping beyond her constitutional powers.
